Mild Flavor
The flavor of Ceylon cinnamon is mild compared to the more common varieties of Cassia which have a thick, dense bark and much stronger taste. Ceylon is the preferred cinnamon in England and Mexico and is ideal for baked goods like cookies, cakes and breads. Our super fine powder mixes well with everything including yogurt. Single Origin
Our cinnamon is cultivated on certified organic farms in Sri Lanka's Central Province. This mountainous region is believed to be where the Cinnamomum verum species of evergreen tree originated. The unique climate produces the finest "True Cinnamon" in the world. The inner bark has a golden brown color, citrusy aroma and mild flavor.
